Robotic Olympics
Keeping with the theme for the year 2006; Robots (because lets face it, they're gonna replace us all eventually), I will be in Italy bringing full coverage of all of this years robotic winter olympics. Tonight was the luge. Here are the results:
1st Place: Techbot51x (representing Korea) With a time of 2:30.02 Techbot wowed all of us with his use of the luge. He was a little rough and rocky on the alpine course, but after polishing his tracks, the bot flew. Not only did he use techniques not seen since the RollonBot in '84, but he even went strapless! As a seasoned luge operator, I can assure you, this bot was all luge and no sled.
2nd Place: KlinderhozBot (representing Delacroix) This year Italy was barraged by Klinderhoz fans who would not take no for an answer. First it was autographs and then it escaladed to stalking. When he was able to get some peace and quiet, Klinder took all of his time making sure he knew how to roll on the g force turns. Good think he brought that helmet! On track 2 he lost some time shuttling off trail! But, when he had that silver medal in his slot loading tray, you knew you were witnessing something special.
3rd Place: PlachinkoBot (representing the the Chinese republic of Taiwan) This bot was a gamble. First you thought he would come out a winner, then you were sure he would lose. In the end, you lost all of your money and woke up the next day with empty pockets on the streets of Milan. I, or rather, you then found out PlachinkoBot got 3rd. Since you spent all your Euros on him your son doesn't get clothes this year. Good on ya Plachinko!
Tomorrow night we have the Off Road Moto X Alpines. Stay tuned
